Bum,

Yes it would seem so; however, I really don't like the way that answer feels.

Since you are going to pull the wheel anyway, now, I would investigate Daddywags assessment and solution of the intermittent lack of connection inside the T/S switch.

When I am wrong

Well, I don't like to give up, so I disassembled the old switch and followed the logical way it had to work. Then I took the plug apart that I bought to connect the turn signal switch to the harness, and hooked the wires up one wire at a time. I had the right rear turn signal and the flasher wires crossed. Strangely enough when you do this everything works except the right rear turn.

Thanks for all the advice, and pushing me to look at other stuff.
