97 explorer blue smoke????? please help

ok drove my 97 4.0 shoc explorer to the gas station running great awesome put gas in it started it up missing notice blue smoke out the tailpipe and liquid coming out the pipe to. check engine light was on reseted it 2 days before but know no engine light on.it does not overheated either no oil water water oil.

what could it be thanks for any info and help

Just a guess - take off the gas cap and take a sniff. maybe you filled up with diesel fuel?

Or, you overfilled the tank and flooded the EVAP system with RAW fuel...
