Talking Fixing the dim light problem 87 up

Now I must say I can't take full credit for this I stumbled acrossed it through a rebuilder for where I work (Carquest/Auto Haus). Now it is really simple too and it works and instead of a 75 amp alternator that don't work at low rmp you get a 130 amps that works the whole range no more dim lights at idle. Now first you get yourself the 130 amp alternator for a 94 F-150 the 3g style. Now this alternator has the same regulator plug in on it but instead of another larger three wire plug it has a stud on the back and a small spade on the side. Here is the easy part the larger three wire plug in on the alternator that was stock, cut it. Take the two larger wires and make them one and solder in an eye termanal. Now the smaller wire you put a female spade termanal on. Then put the eye on the stud and conect the spade termanals together and you are done. The case of the alternator is the same so it fits the bracket with out any mods. and the pulley is a serpantine pulley same as stock. Now isn't that just as simple as it gets. I hope this will benifit others as it has me. Enjoy Steve
