extended coverage ?

My coverage just ran out on my truck.just got a letter from "carsafe" wanting me to extend my coverage.Has anyone ever done this and is this a good thing.i guess what i am asking is this a scam.

Even if it was a FORD warranty (which they rarely are) I wouldn't touch those with a ten foot pole...they have so many restrictions. I caught the warrranty salesman in a lie when he was trying to sell me one. That POS tried to convince me it covered everything blah blah blah....I went to the service writer who was a fair acquiantance of mine and he called BS! They are liars

Bottom line is anyone buying an extended warranty should read it to make sure it covers what they want covered. I am totally happy with my esp Ford warranty and it has paid for it self.
