Heater

So it was a little cold last weekend and I tried to turn the heater on in automatic mode @ 90 degrees. No air from the instrument panel vents. I could feel head at my feet. I assume it was the Rapidheat systems(nothing in the owners manual about it). Is the truck smart enough no to output cold air?

I believe I read this somewhere in the manual.

I have the rapid heating also,First one for me also. I'm clueless but I ordered the dual alternators and figured what the heck...but here in Texas it will be AWHILE till I get to try it out.
I love heated seats and the smell of a NEW truck heater!!

Life is good.

Generally when heater is on in AUTO mode it will come out of the floor ONLY. It goes off the hot air rises principle. When using remote start generally the heater will come on plus defrost. I don't know of any heaters that blow out of the dash vents in AUTO mode. It would be tough on contact wearers.
