what we have here is failure to communicate....lmfao 89ford73, we are not picking on you by any means but please dont go there on engineering of the stanadyne. Most of us know that thing inside and out, not just a theoretical interpretation. You can do nothing more than advance the timing, which wont do major damage immediately but over time, take it from me, it will kill an ip. the IP will deliver no more pressure than the cams inside will allow menaing you could split a rubber hose from overpressure and it will still deliver the correct pop pressure to the injector. No big deal, just a learning curve. Like one said earlier, when these trucks are out of time, they lose a bit of power, when you applied the high pressure, you probably "timed" it correctly.
