360 pistons
I have been looking for a 360 Piston that would give me Zero Deck
Have been wanting to build 360 for torque and fuel economey..But as most already know ... no such piston exists. The factory type pistons are all .100 down in the bore.
I have found what may be a solution
a 351M piston has a 1.918-1.921 CH depending on the manufacture
they are cheap and would bring the piston to within .005-.001 of the top of the block....As long as you use the 390 rod
and the benifit of the 390 rod (6.489 long) is it is stronger
as well as the 351M and the 390 has the same pin diameter
I spoke with the K and B staff about the Silovite 1167 Piston and they think it would work...a small valve relief might need to be cut in the top depending on the camshaft

the K and B guys told me there are more than a few 360 running with the 351M piston with very good results
