Question vc-9 or coolant filter???

Well, just recieved the shut off valves for Deiselsite coolant filter yesterday now I just do not know if I want to put this on before I do a vc-9 flush or after. What do you guys think? I've been through 2 sets of Hg's so I know the coolant is not the original but the truck has over 100k on it. Maintain..Maintain..Maintain

Do the VC-9 first and get the system clean then put the coolant filter on after you get it clean to KEEP it clean.

Its so easy to install and u could always just swap the filter afterwards why wouldnt you do it first? I just pulled my first filter, after 1k. Not a damn thing in it nothing at all. My trks moter is bone stock all originial except for the sct livewire with 126k on it.

Because not only is it a waste of a filter, but for the very very short time the flush is in the system the filter will do virtually nothing but become contaminated and you want FULL FLOW to every mechanical part of the motor that coolant touches. It also allows you to have an empty system when you install the filter with no coolant loss.

You know a hell of a lot more than I, no doubt. For 8 bucks curiosity would get the best of me and did. lol I used a vice grip and a towel not to damage the hose when installing mine I lost a few drops.
