well i bought a original mint dash pad off a friend, and amazingly he told me he uses Mink oil, it helps keep the vinyl moist, as if it dries out it will crack and split,

there is also sprays out there that will protect the dash from UV rays, not really sure what's the best one, as there are many,

you can also invest in a reflective sun shade for your front windshield, just put it up when your truck is parked, i got one, and it also keeps the sun off the interior and it keeps the interior cabin temperatures slightly lower,

hope this helps,

-Brent

I AGREE! Meguiars isn't bad but I use blue sapphire. You need to know someone to get that stuff though. Its a professional detail chemical. Smells like liquid amoxicillin (kinda like bubble gum) and its baby blue in color.
