So I took tons of pics when i torn the truck about but our computer crash and lost them all.

So i am trying to get the flathead back in my 53 f250,but cant really remember the way that the front bracket attached to the frame and the motor and also not sure of the correct bolts that it took.

Please help me if you can

thanks for the help

What i really need now is info on the main bolt(the center one) that mounts it in the front

I dont have this bolt, so if anyone could give me some help on the right size i need.

It looks like this is a different type because of the square hole in the top of the bushing holder.

The 53 flathead used the same front engine mounting hardware as the later Y blocks.

The center bolt is 9/16"-18 X 2 3/8" hex head.
The nut is 9/16"-18 special round
The sleeve (6069) is 37/64" I.D. - 3/4" O.D. - 1 23/64" long (same as rear engine mounts)

A carriage bolt stuck in from above might work at least until you can find the special nut.
