Rear end hopping

Rear end hopping

what could be causing my rear end to hop while driving on the highway it dosent happen all the but enough that it concerns me

my truck is a F250 Superduty 4x4

bumpy road, bad shocks, weak springs, unblanced wheels/tires, bent wheels, empty bed/light load, bad axle bearings, many numerous things.

i would try putting some concrete or sand bags back there to see if that helps.

ok well i am getting my winter tires put back on here soon see if the fixes it i hope it does

it was my crappy summer tires were unblanced

i would check the fluid levels on the rear end. my 01 was doing it too and i ignored it till finally it locked up and the entire rear of the truck was close to a foot off the ground. when i finally got it back to my friends place which was the nearest the rear dif was smoking. when i got the cover off there was no fluid left at all and i pulled around 5 lbs of metal out of there. the rear carrier was destroyed and so was the ring and pinion.

big steve thanks for givin me the heads up on that i will be checking that tomorow after work the hop stoped after i put my winter tires on today but i am still going to check that
