Rough Idle/Surge???

Rough Idle/Surge???
On my way to work this morning the truck was Idling a little rough. Almost like it was a slight surge and the truck was not idling as smooth as normal. It was only happening when I was stopped. Any idea? CPS? I had a 1/4 tank of gas and it has been 3 weeks since I changed the fuel filter. It was happening after the truck was warmed and when it was cold. It is not cold here like 60 degrees. Thoughts????

I changed the oil the same time I changed the fuel filter about 3 weeks ago now. Could it be the CPS? Or does that sound like bad fuel? I had ran the engine down to about 1/4 tank, it did start as I was facing down hill at a pretty good angle. It did seem to continue though as I got down to the flat. I did not notice anything out of the norm as I started to move though.
What does the truck do as the CPS goes out? What about bad fuel?
It was happening in stock mode and did not try it in the other modes.
