What is one more 5.4 Plug thread....
So I finally got around to changing the plugs. I figured I was in for it since I waited for 116k to roll around but now the plugs are coming out weird. I got the first one on each side to come right out NO issues. but the second in line on both sides broke at the nut. The porcelain stayed in tact and I couldn't get the electrode out...what to do now...I broke both and then vac'd them out. But now my truck is idling like crap, but when I drive there is nothing wrong (no vibrations lack of power) solely when I'm at a dead stop.... I measured the gap of the spark plugs and I'm more than sure I tightened them correctly. What could be the other issue??

When you changed the plugs, did you unhook all the COP and injector connectors for easier access? If yes, make sure all the connectors are seated properly. 9 out of 10 times a clip breaks and a connector doesn't completely seat.
