anyone here gone with aftermarket brakes? the factory setup seems a bit wimpy to me. i checked with Stillen and they have a $4000 solution. right idea, but this seems a bit much. any thoughts?
That was one of the first things that got improved on the Expy. '97 was a lessone learned. The brakes just weren't what they should have been for an SUV. So, Ford improved them alright, to the biggest and most powerful in the full size SUV class. Then came the Excursion.....
I agree, $4 is way high. You could take tha $4 and trade up to a new model. The Expy market is really soft right not.
