i am trying to find a kit that is called an anti-drainback valve kit. suppose to help the TC from draining into the trans after sitting for awhile. i have searched the web and can't seem to find a supplier. any help is greatly appreciated.

no i found a thread here from a guy who owns a tranny shop that suggested it to another member to help stop the torque converter draining back into the trans.Part # FOTZ-7D174-A. supposedly a FORD part just can't find a supplier. the thread is a couple threads down from this one. titled c6 torque converter drainback--need help. of course no one put an end to the thread with a response to what came of this.

I think you'll find in that thread that others said that part number is for a check valve for the cooler line.
Lucky for me you don't have to know much to run a Trophy Truck team! Whew!
BTW, the Midol is on aisle 7.

seems to me if torq converter drains back it would fill all the lower extremities of the trans and fluid system. so hence a check valve in the cooler line could in fact restrict some fluid transfer at shut down. if its a ford part it must be real, and made to remedy something. just my 2 cents mr trophy truck
