old problem still unsolved.

ok guys heres whats going on with this thing. shes an 86 2.9 b2.
i replaced the the egr sensor and got rid of two codes. now im get the sys pass codes but the cont mem is holding a 15 and a 16. the 15 is a memory problem wich in my understanding of the automotive computer menes im shot burn me please lol. but the 16 has me stummped. its definition is "idm (ignition diognotic monitor) signal not recieved. what is that part. ive tried to find it and tried to get information on it but noone seems to know. is it a seperate part under the maybe part of the tfi module? is it in the computer itself? what in the would is it? ford didnt have anything helpful on this and none of the local shops seem to know what it is. the truck runs like a 2 hooker cold but when she warms up for about 5 mins (at idle only) shes good. but then she just dyes like i shut her off. fires up no problems though. its a healthy engine but there is definetly a prob in the computer. next descent day im puting the new fuel filter in to see what happens and im gonna pull the computer out so i can a boneyard hunt. do you guys have any tips as far as finding a good computer from the boneyard for this lil girl?

I've seen the code 15 caused by a bad connection at the EEC relay.
As for the code 16, I looked at a wiring diagram at autozone.com and I see an "IDM resistor" in between the TFI module and the EEC, so it could very well be in the TFI module. sorry, I can't be any more help than that.
good luck
