'95 302 rollers same as '95 3.8 rollers?
Forgive me for asking in this section, but I need an expedited answer.
I'm rebuilding a 3.8 V6 from a '95 Mustang and I'm looking to replace the roller lifters. When looking at RockAuto, TRW shows the '95 3.8 to have the same lifter part numbers as a '95 302. After calling Crane Cams, one of their techs told me that they don't make roller lifters for the Ford 3.8 V6.
So what's the scoop? I found some decent prices for some 302 roller lifters, but if I can't use them in the 3.8 V6, I'll need to get them elsewhere.
