I have a 2000 ford dually crew cab with a v-10 and I want to install a leveling kit, does anybody know what kit that I should get, and where to find them to order on the internet? I want quality not something that will come apart going down the interstate.

 

2wd or 4x4?
If 2wd, I don't know of any leveling kits available.

If 4x4, read on:
I would go with the Edge 3" leveling kit for your truck. They are the strongest, best built kits on the market.

It raises the front using hangers and boxed shackles. It also includes custom valved nickel plated Bilstein 5100 series shocks which are the best in my opinion. The shocks are what make it ride better than stock. Other kits that use add a leafs or replacement leaf packs make the ride a little harsh.

You seem pretty gung hoh on the Edge system. Why is that? Do you have the system yourself? Do you install lifts? Let us know some background for your opinion.

Well, when I first did my truck I didn't know anything. I was very, very unhappy with my choice in products So, I started to do some research on all of the lift kits available for the SDs. Read as much as I could, talked to a lot of shops, and was lucky enough to meet a few people who are involved with high quality lifts all the time. From what I had read on my own, my thoughts were that if any one is looking for the best "kit" available it is without a doubt the Edge systems. And after talking to the shop owners and some others who are involved in the industry they confirmed that.
I then tried to ride in as many lift kits as possible, Edge road the best by far. And I'm sure you have seen the pics of their components that show their size and strength compared to other companies.
I currently am waiting to get my Edge lift until I see if a buddy of mine is bothered by the police for frame height issues here. Depending on the outcome I will either run 12.5" Edge lift or 8" Edge lift to stay legal.
I learned the hard way that Edge was the best, I wish I would have known sooner so as not to waste my money on other companies products.
