Anyhow, my ranger has been sitting quite a bit this summer due to a lack of a/c. I took it to pick up the wife at work last night and it barfed up the following codes: P0136, P0120, and P0028. I've spent an hour, searching, poking, prodding and googling and I can only find one of these codes listed (an O2 sensor code, typical). Can someone help me out? I'd really appreciate it.
I have a 2000 Ford Powertrain-Control/Emissions Diagnosis manual for sale ($5 + shipping).
The chart in it says that the possible causes of the P0136 are: pinched, shorted, or corroded wires; crossed sensor wires; exhaust leaks; contaminated or damaged sensor. The other two codes aren't listed in the DTC section.
