Where are you located?
Is it reasonably rust-free?
Short-bed or long?
Trim level, XL, XLT, or Lariat?
Need s'more to go on.

Assuming no mechanical problems that's a good deal. But with a price that low, look for mechanical problems. Pay attention to the transmission since it is a 2001.
Did someone say s'mores?

They have a mechanical diode that will fail at some point, requiring a full rebuild. But at that mileage, it's very likely that's already happened.

The transmissions with the mechanical diodes were only used for three quarters of the year.

On the carfax it says at 96,000 miles that the transmission was worked on so I'm hoping that has been fixed already

Sounds good to me. If it runs good, know mechanical problems you can see, go for it. Just remember its a 2001. Things do pop up.

If you can find someone who can scan for codes. AE, snap on are good ones that will work. Part store code readers wont work on these trucks.
