Air shut off
Can any one tell me if their 6.7 has a air shut off! If so can you post a pic?I need to put one on . The dealer wants 400 for the install. put my last one on myself but not to sure if it is the same.. This truck is the bomb!!!!

A air shut off is a valve that shuts the air off to the truck ..it is used on diesels in the oil & gas industry because if ther is a gas leak turning your engine off won't work it will runway and blow up. The valve can be triggered from a toggle switch from inside the cab closing the valve and shutting down the truck...

Ahh. Gotcha. We had an old Trailways bus in high school with a 2 stroke diesel with an air shutoff kill switch.
Does someone make kits for these? If so, I'd think they'd be having a 6.7 kit out soon. It seems like it'd be pretty easy, an electronic butterfly on the intake somewhere.
