My 81 Bronco with 300 six sat for 7 months so I set out to stretch her legs but got about 2 blocks away, It had a bad miss and lots of black smoke out the exhaust. The head is new with about 10000 on it, Any ideas of what is going on?

For the miss:Pull the plugs and check for oil fouling. (Plugs that are black and oily)
Also check the ignition coil.
IIRC, black smoke indicates carbon build-up in the cylinders and/or exhaust system or a burnt exhaust valve. Any detonation in the exhaust?
