help
got a 1980 ltd 351w its got a dumb ignition system in it where does number one sit at on the cap it says number one where the 7 would normaly b on a reg ignition i kno the firing order but where is number one on that damn cap cuz i got

I think a quick way to tell would be to set the number 1 cylinder to TDC ,then pull off the distributor cap. At this point, unless some one has already pulled out the distributor and really messed up the timing, the rotor should be pointing to #1.
