If you have a parts house that still has Dorman products you should be able to get them thru them I cant be sure cause Im not a big fan of Loews but it seems that they have these in there bolt and screw section in the hardware area next time your at a bone yard they are all over the place dont worry you want get called a horder if you stock up on a few of these only issue is most of the late models are metric so grab the bolts that are lying around hope this helps
I got some at a local parts store. Not the chain store like Pep Boys and Auto Zone.
Another option would be a body shop or even the dealer if you are that desperate.
5/16 and 3/8 is the sizes i need in these. theyre off the front end of a 69 f100. from the radiator support.
What is the exact length and width? There are over 50 of these nut and retainer assemblies listed in the Ford Standard (hardware) Parts Catalog.
I found a few of both sizes at obsolete parts vendors, but I'm not typing myriad different part numbers and their specs, since only two will be correct.
Both are as obsolete as the dodo bird, so don't expect to find any at Ford Dealers. Automotive Paint Supply stores that body shops buy their supplies from, carry these types of clips.
But, the problem is...most if not all...will be metric. The US automakers began using metric hardware circa 1980.
I have the current AuVeCo printed catalog, but in order to post their part numbers...the only way this can be done is...by crossing the Ford part numbers over to AuVeCo part numbers.
There are no application charts in AuVeCo catalogs. All that is listed are 100's of pages of hardware, their specs, and manufacturer to AuVeCo part numbers.
I recently replaced some hardware on the front of my '72. I only needed the 5/16-18 hardware.
