diesel problems
i'm thinking about buying my buddies diesel pick-up with 50,000 + miles. he hasn't any issues yet,but i'm concerned what lies down the road in expense compared to a gas truck. have any of you had any major problems and what should i expect?

Hard to say without knowing what motor is in it. The 7.3l is very stout. The 6.0l has some known problems but with good maintenance those are avoidable. The 6.4l is a good motor other than the early ones had radiator problems.
