the issue with my driver window is no up and down. the other windows work fine individually and from the master control. i thought i may have a bad switch because when i hit the switch to go i hear a click like its the relay (replaced the relay - no change). i then direct power to the plug, the up popped as the window was already up and i was just checking, but going down, same issue, it sounds like the relay ( change to another relay just for s&g's - no change).
so i look in the helm electrical and it directs me to possibly the gem - generic electronic module connector. it is on the underside of the junction box/ fuse box. im thinking the plug goes into the fuse panel is this correct? if so is it possible for the plug to be bad or could the fuse panel have an issue if the gem plugs into it?
it has gotten to hot to be crawling around under the dash, but how do you take the fuse panel out, i dont have a helm maintenance yet they have been sold out forever?
Ok I did that and tried a new switch. When I went to let it down tje window just went down about a 2" and quit. It will not go up or down anymore. I'm going to have to direct power the plug to get it back up. I'm thinking its the motor now. When replacing the motor will taping the window up be ok or do you have to support it another way?
W ihen hit down on the switch, the motor sounded like it was on its last leg anyway.

Did replacing the motor work for you? I have the exact same issue and I replaced the motor and it worked when I put everything together in the garage....then this morning when I am driving to work I test it out and now it's doing the exact same as you described. This is getting annoying.
