I've got an 02 super cab short bed with the 5.4. It has 3.73 gears, 6" Pro Comp lift, and 35's. I need new tires and would really like to go to 37's, but I think the 3.73's are too high for it with the 5.4. What are some opinions? Regearing isn't in the budget right now, but will be eventually.
I have an 01 super cab and have run stock 31's, 35's and will soon be running 37's. I also have the 5.4, but 4.10's. I think the 37's on 3.73 will make the motor feel very anemic.
I was thinking that too. Maybe I will just put another set of 35's on it until I can get my gears. They just look so small under the truck. I will look for some 14.50's instead of 12.50's. That might help.
