frort end swap
Hi Guys is the 1999 running gear the same as a 2001. Can I just bolt this stuff in?
I`ve been reading about the dana 60 swap to my early 1999 f250 and am confused. I have to change both front and rears because I have 3.73`s and I have access to a 2001 v10 complete truck. I think it has a dana 60 but I`m not sure. It has 4.30`s gears but the front axle sticker says d273d and I can`t find this code. Also I will need to swap my stuff back into the 01 so does the rear and front diff`s just bolt up or do I have to modify. I know about the trackbar and bracket , and the sway bar. Will I just have to swap drivelines up front. The 01 has front antilock and the99 doesn`t so I will have to leave that on the 01 so where do I seperate the stuff (hub and rotors stay on the old vehicles or swap from knuckle out). The front lug bolts are bigger than the 99 does this mean anything?
