What do you all pay per month?
I just went down to the Ford dealership, and took what's left of my eddie bauer bronco. I told them I want the modern equivilant to it. They brought out an expidition eddie bauer, fully loaded. And told me my monthly payments would be $650 a month!!
Are they nuts? in 10 months I'll have paid more than what I did to buy my bronco outright!

I must be missing something. I just shopped for new Expeditions and didn't see any that were in the $56K arena. I did find plenty of XLT's that had had tons of options for around $28,000. Granted these were 2WD's with the smaller engine, but they did have nice features. If you don't put anything down, take out a five year loan at 8% you'd pay around $568/mth. Put down $5,000 and your payments are $466/mth. With good credit you should find interest rates south of 8%.
It's all a function of finance.

2002 (yes 2002), eddie bauer. 5.4l V8, 4x4, leather seats, moonroof, tow package, backup warming system, cd changer, rear entertaiment center (lord only knows with kids on the way how useful that could be), load balancing system, moon roof, custom wheels, privacy glass, power windows, power locks, and a ton of other crap that I really don't need or want.
Besides, 2 rows of back seats was a running joke. My fiance (who wants LOTS of kids, and I don't) said that's good planning ahead by me. I'll stick to the bronco that makes it impossible to get small children in and out of
