Bought my project today
I just went down this morning and paid for my newest project, a 1980 Ford F-150. While certainly not in the realm of classis cars like those from the 50's or 60's or earlier, it is known over 26 years old, which is the determination for it being a classic vehicle. I had no intention of buying this truck, I was going to this guys house because I saw a sign for a garage sale that listed guns and hunting stuff. After talking with the owner about an old Pontiac he had, the subject of this truck came up. It has a 302 V8 and runs, albeit with an oil leak. The body needs work as you can see, ( the left side needs the most work) but like I said, it is a project, and if it takes me 10 years, it takes me 10 years. The first thing that I want to do after I get it home is make a list of everything it needs. My first priority is getting the motor rebuilt. But for $300 I could have done worse.
