351W 4wd cam
I'm helping a friend "pep" up his 351W in his pickup.
Specs on pickup now:
4wd +-5000lb
stock convertor
4bbl 600 I believe
headers
stock heads
stock compression (8.5:1?)
I've been trying to get ahold of comp cams for days with no luck, always end up waiting on phone forever and hanging up. I got no reply on email either (kinda pissing me off, I spend enough with them). I was just looking at a small extreme 4x4 cam they have. This pickup is used just for goof around, 4 wheelin in fields chasing coyotes, etc.. What I want to know for sure is can I slip one of the two I will list for you soon in with new lifters and timing set and leave the stock springs and rest of valvetrain stock? Here's the specs on the two I'm looking at:
1000-5000rpm dur.206/214@.050 lift.448/.483
1200-5200rpm dur.210/218@.050 lift.477/.493
