A/C - AFTERMARKET ???

Ok, I've removed the original factory a/c from my 72 F100.
Wondering what aftermarket units you guys would recommend. I want a unit that heats/cools all in one and looks good.
Any photos of installations you have would be greatly appreciated.

If anyone is interested a "working" factory unit - complete, I have it. It was blowing air when I took it out anyway.

TAPE all the connections...if humid air gets inside, some of the parts will be ruined in a matter of weeks.

1968/72 F100/350 Factory installed Integral A/C: The A/C is integral with the heater. The A/C controls are combined with the heater controls in the dash mounted panel. A separate glove box is mounted in the A/C's bezel.

Dealer installed A/C: The A/C is separate from the heater. The A/C controls are separate from the heater control panel, are mounted in the bezel. The dash glove box is extant.

Thanks Bill. I've read some of your previous posts on Factory A/C so was aware that mine is in fact Factory installed.
Have you got a recommendation on which of the aftermarket units are the best for installation in a 72? Started to send you an email, but figured you get enough as it is.

Sorry, I cannot recommend any aftermarket A/C's, because I have no experience with any of them.

Not a problem. Pretty sure I'll be going with either Vintage or Classic Air. Just wanted to see if others had a preference in these year model trucks. I've only used them in cars.
