2004 expy ac issue
I have a 2004 Expy. 4.6 4x4 XLT It has the **** style ac controls. On the fan side to first two settings does nothing. no air. the third and forth are both full blast. no change going from 3 to 4. Also the ac only works on Max. on normal it does nothing. I did a search and seen about vacum leeks but would this effect my issues? I havn't had a chance to really look at it wanted to get some direction first.

I had a similar problem with a Sable and found that the plug on the switch was badly burnt and the switch itself was fried internally. I replaced the switch and the plug with JY parts and all was well for a few years and then we sold it.

Thanks for the reply. I haven't pulled the pannel yet, I had to work this weekend. I was thinking of just getting a whole control pannel out of a junk yard and trying that, even if I don't see any clear issues.

Good idea. Your local Pick-N-Pull yard should have plenty of them.
