Diesel C6?
I'm working on building a C6 for my mud truck(460,) and I'm going to be tearing apart a C6 from behind a 6.9 for the tailshaft and tailhousing. I know it has deeper clutch drums, but, what else in there is worth re-using on the BB trans I'm building? I know the stock diesel C6 setup shifts nice an firm compared to a gasser trans, so valve body maybe? I'd imagine the vacuum modulator and governor have more to do with the shift points than the VB does.
If I wasn't planning on doing E4OD gears in there I'd be tempted just to drill the diesel case and bolt it to the 460 just to see how it would work with a gasser governor and vacuum modulator...
