shimming fp???

lol sorry tired fingers, i was meaning shimming fpr, will i notice a gain and should i do this, i am about 2 replace fuel pummp as i do my 17* hpop swap ,it right there seamed like a good 100 bucks spent, on the fpr shimming should you use the bb or what??? thanks all

If you replace your fuel pump you shouldn't need a shim. Just check the pressure on the schrader valve when you are done (over 50, less than 80) at idle. BB will jump it I've heard about 20psi.
