I'm getting ready to level my truck abd have been looking at leveing kits, and I'm thinking of going the spring pack route. However while looking up kit's some come with a adjustable track bar & some don't. Is a new tarck bar really needed?
When I had my 2000 F250, I leveled it with Rancho leveling springs. This was retaining my stock track arm. That said, I had to use a come-a-long hooked to the frame of my 4Runner to pull the front axle over enough to seat the leaf spring on the spring perch. It was hard enough to drag the 4Runner sideways on asphalt.
Worse case besides possibly being a pain in the *** is your front axle will be over to the passenger side a little more than the driver side. My F250 axle did this and my Excursion with a 4" lift does this as well, stock track arm.
