smoking on shift
So other than the air filter (which is new) my truck is a stock late 99. With no load if I accelerate hard shifting around 3000 rpm (6 speed) I shoot a huge cloud of black when i push the clutch. It pulls hard possibly better than ever. Thanks for any help

I've got 213000 on mine and it just started doing it.

There was a signal sent out by satellite for all 6spd PSDs to start smoking on shifts.
The PCM has been updated and will smoke from now on upon shifting with throttle.

Nice! Mine only does it when I get on it decently to hard, if I take it easy and let it spool gradually it won't smoke. It's nice, kind of like being able to smoke on demand, my buddies stocker can't smoke, he's tried.
