The concensus is that it is made by Quaker State. Many people run it without problems. Other people hate it. Preferred PSD oils seem to be various synthetics (Mobil 1, Redline, Amsoil), Delo, Rotella.
I run with Super Tech. So long as it is CH-4 (or CI-4), it meets specs. I change my oil a little more often, but I would probably do that even with the brand name stuff.

Current production of Wally World oil is by Warren Distr. Info can be found at www.wd-wpp.com/specsheet/motoroil.pdf Bad part about using Wallyworld oil is you never know what is in the bottle. For now, their oil ain't bad.
