Question

03 Turbo Question

My brother just installed a turbo back straight piped exhaust on his 03 6.0L. After startup the whistle will appear then disappear a couple times. Sort of like the veins opening and closing. Is this normal for 03s? My 04 starts off with a deep rumble then the whistle kicks in and stays. His comes and goes and then eventually smooths out I think...

Mine does the same thing. I just had mine flashed and thats when it started doing it. I think it may be the vanes just "exercising".

Hmmm he did just have his in recently to have the FICM replaced and his PCM was flashed.... interesting. Thanks!
