Good luck... after some of the conversations in the BS thread about guns, concealed permits, etc I sure wouldn't try it. lol
I got mine on there and I agree Falcon... I have my concealed permit from Arizona.. need to get it updated to Oregon. My name also might be a give away... it is also my ham radio callsign.
P.S. Any other amateur radio operators here in Oregon?

My dad's a HAMi. I think his call sign is NR5N I'll ask next time I talk to him. He's been doing it for 30 yrs now and builds his own radios. He's got some fancy store bought ones too. Icon?
It's been a long time since I looked at the map and found I was missing. When I clicked my name on the side It had me up in Canada way the heck north. I deleted my name and repositioned myself in the correct location.
PS. The help instructions aren't coming up. You need to log into Google to be able to add and edit.

He's in WV? You can search by his name..QRZ.COM Callsign Database
I usually buy my radios but have built a few knick knacks to help with stuff.. and that would be ICOM radios... That is what I have too.. but it's the low end of their models.

Welcome to the "clan"
His call sign is def NR5N I looked it up and asked him! Icom is right. They seemed top of the line to me since anything over 200 for a radio is expensive in my book! Haha! His current part of the radio hobby is buying old Heath kits and repairing them and using/reselling them I remember being a kid and him sitting at the dining room table putting Heath kits together. He'd also be up real late listening to all the frequencies and trying to talk to people. He did the shuttle once when they still allowed it and all sorts of countries. I know he's got a few albums full of those cards you send when you make a contact.
