I would never cover up my grill and headlights like that, but i would like to install lights into my bumper which is solid faced. and even have a lower skirt under my bumper.... Now i have a new question:
I think i have a short somewhere in my wiring, i just put new bulbs into my 90 f150 with a 300-6 4.9Ltr motor, because the low beams went out on my, well now my truck sputters going down the road, sucks alot of gas, and even tries to shut off going down the road, i literally have to floor it o get it to move. i put new bulbs in it and this morning it blew the low beam part of my bulb out again... and its really sputtering badly, i feel its a short because when its sputters, some of the dash lightins and warning lights flicker, how do i go about tracing where this short might be? could it be a bad ground wire?
Start it up and do a wiggle test. Start wiggling wires at the headlights with them on and see what happens, work your way through the engine compartment harness, you're bound to find it, also check the wiring block at the firewall to make certain it has a good connection.
found out i had a loose wire at teh fuel pump relay, got it to stop cutting out so far, but wierd thing about he headlight bulbs, it exploded the bulb, the last one too... att $12 a pc its getting pricey to replace... for some reason its like its getting way too hot or too much juice and making it pop?????
I need to ge taround to my explorer asap and see exactly where the tranny fluid is pouring out of, im hoping its a converter or a front seal so i can replace it and hopefully be back on hte road with it before winter... anyone here drop a trany out of an explorer 91 model???? is it hard?
