GPR Opinions

I have found a setup since mine has gone out twice within a year. Is a manual gp setup better than the stock setup?

ok i just found a brand new spare but one of the small terminals are busted off does anyone know what they are for b/c the new manual gpr system wont be shipped till friday guys on vacation.

what are the temp's were your at cause you could tape up the wire's till the new setup comes in

I use a GPR-109 from Napa. Cheap and works well. But I do live in Texas where it isn't needed all that much.

temp is a big problem i live in northern michigan and it get COLD up here i just orderd the manual kit and it has a lifetime warrenty so i should get it tomarrow

Isn't there a Contactor from Western "a snowplow Dealer or something" that only costs 15 bucks? I got them for my dad's and uncles trucks over 2 years ago and still kicking. Don't remember the #'s on it.

Edit: It's Western Plow # 56131K-1 Western Snow Plow Hydraulic System Relays

yes its the same. i did it on my OBS. basically its a remove and replace operation.

Trout Lake Talyn, my GPR is working but needs replaced. At the end of the GP cycle it cuts in and out a couple of times. I can see the amp gauge jump a few times. No big deal for now but I will replace it when I get home. Thanks anyway!

Could be bad glow plugs. When I bought my truck only 3 of the 8 were working and it would cause the amp gauge to jump around like you describe.
