Ok i have a 1989 f250 4x4 that currently has a 5.8 and a zf s5-42 tranny. I also have a 1971 460 that i want to rebuild and drop in this truck. my question is what is what can i dump as far as the wiring goes and not have the dash lights going off all the time, or what i should ask is will i need to get a wiring harness from a donor vehicle. and before anyone mentions it i have zf tranny situation solved because a website called www.fordcummins.com
has an adaptor plate to mount my zf tranny to the 460.
