dual diaphram booster upgrade??

[SIZE=4]I wonder if anyone has used the dual diap. booster/master from a 78 F-350 on their p/u?

If so, was it a bolt in operation, except for the b. lines? Let me know what you think.

You can get the booster/master cylinder combo at most auto part stores. The largest remanufacturing company is A-1 Cardone and it's part #50-3311 for a 78 model.

When I replaced my stuff on my 74, I just ordered the one for the same model year. I redid all my brakelines anyway, so can't say about those being different, but they looked like before I redid everything.

One thing I do know is that the later ones were a toggle linkage, but the earlier ones were a straight thru the firewall rod. Hope this helps.

Simple bolt on but you have to skin at least one knuckle. I used F350 78-79 parts. Yes the fitting size at master cylinder is different. Lines are same size though. I want to install a chrome lid for master cylinder but can't find one. Can anyone help?
