Could use alittle help....

ok so the story goes....86 f350 v8 460 4 spd granny king cab dually. ranch truck. bought it to save it. now im getting lost with everything that needs to be done . k .
so the help i need on and i apologize if this sounds too easy or too dumb a question but if u can still read and help i would appreciate it.... well the simple fact is i see alot of oil and other leaks going on in the engine bay. fine. that dont scare me thats just seals and other stuff... but my engine has been getting very hot so i replaced the thermostat and seal and now its pushing out hot water under the glove box right onto the passanger floor now i know thats a leak but what is causing it and would can it be is it a bad hose which i know it well could be but what will it lead to should i expect something else once i fix this leak? should i just start replacing all seals from a - z...idk maybe im just over looking something simple but i hope someone can kinda just give me the nudge or whatever it is ...

leaking heater core

you have a hole in your heater core it picks up water from a bypass at your water pump you'll want to locate that hose and loop it back to your water neck and bypass your heater core untill you can replace it. there will be a hose going into the passenger side fire wall and one coming out the two will be next to each other. good luck.Mark
