Oh yeah, I also did an EGR delete just after this to make sure I will not have the failed EGR/Oil Cooler problem (hopefully) ever again.

Deleting the egr cooler will not prevent an oil cooler failure. The oil cooler is what usually causes the egr cooler to fail. You eliminated a symptom not the root cause.
