ODB2 scanner
I've got a '96 F250 diesel. I was wondering will any ODB2 scanner work or does it have to be the AE with some kind of diesel package? I already have a laptop based ODB2 scanner for my gassers.

Since our rigs aren't OBD2 compliant you need a special software package to read the codes. Try your scanner and see if it works, if not then contact the manufacturer and see about getting an upgrade to allow you to read the proper diagnostic codes.
