Oil and plug question

I'm going to change the plugs and oil soon by myself, and was wondering a few things.

What synthetic oil do you all recommend and how much does the 5.3 take?

And does anyone have the part # for the plugs and filter and can you get them at autozone? Or should I just go to a Ford dealer and pick up the parts?

You mean the 5.4L - 6qts of oil. No oil recommendation from me. I run my local auto parts house brand, Parts Plus, conventional 5w-30 year round.

I don't know the part number off hand, but I'd remove either plug number 1 or 5 and assuming its a Motorcraft plug, go in and tell the person you want 8 of the same.

Straight from your owner's manual:

Original Motorcraft spark plug #AGSF-22WM
Original Motorcraft oil filter #FL-820-S
Oil Capacity is 6 quarts including the filter.

Use SAE 5W-20 engine oil.
Only use oils “Certified For Gasoline Engines” by the American Petroleum Institute (API). To protect your engine’s warranty use Motorcraft SAE 5W-20 or an equivalent 5W-20 oil meeting Ford specification WSS-M2C153–H. SAE 5W-20 oil provides optimum fuel economy and durability performance meeting all requirements for your vehicle’s engine. Do not use supplemental engine oil additives, cleaners or other engine treatments. They are unnecessary and could lead to engine damage that is not covered by Ford warranty. Change your engine oil according to the appropriate schedule listed in the scheduled maintenance guide.

I bought my Motorcraft filter and Motorcraft synthetic oil (it was the cheapest) at Walmart. Got my plugs at the dealersip and I think they were like $1.75 a pop.
