extra high idle
so i finally got my check engine light off by replacing the TPS. a month later my throotle cable went bad and i replaced it. when i start the truck it idles really high and if i put it in gear i will do roughly 20mph with out touching the gas. i checked to see if the throttle cable was to tight or loose but the butterflies are closed when i start it i need help 8 miles a gallon isnt any fun
any help would be great

Check the tps voltage..... .99v is the number you want.... don't worry, our trucks use the same process of testing http://www.f150online.com/forums/lig...ttle-body.html
