Whats normal rpm range?
Just changed my battery today and starting problem seems to be fixed, but now my truck runs at 2000 rpm while going 40 mph. Is it just computer relearning shift points or something else? It also seems to accelerate a lot harder now which I like but something seems to be off.

Pull codes from the computer, even if there is no CEL there may be trouble codes.
With that RPM range it sounds like it is not getting out of 2nd gear, and it is either an AODE or 4R70W so it is computer controlled and should throw a code if it is not functioning properly.
